Now that I got your attention I'm gonna ask for less than five minutes of your time to listen to a demo by a newer band by the name of No Dice. Although some of their members have been in Takaru, Ruhaeda and Under A Dying Sun, No Dice sounds more like fans of Crossed Out and Infest...with a cleaner sound. While the majority of mayhem is fast, the ending of "Suffer" is so slow and heavy you feel like you're puking in slow motion. For fans of intense fucking vocals, No Dice will once again not dissapoint. Every hardcore demo should be packed with a pickslide intro.
The lyrics of the four songs match the intensity of the vocals by being pretty damn angry. Like Infest's lyrical style, No Dice will use short lines with words that sum up feelings well. Taken from "Guilt," "all the time I have wasted empty feelings hopeless dread my life is nothing but a fucking joke head in hands wasted life disappearing nothing left." On the next release it would be nice if they broke up the songs into lines or used commas, just so it'd be less confusing to read. While "Guilt" is more introspective, "Suffer" is about those who treat woman poorly. "Sexist fucking pig I know what you did beat your wife manpig don't you touch her make her your little toy..."
With a record being released on 625 Thrash in the fall/winter expect more fast/heavy anger to come out of the Half Moon Bay of California.
