Glasgow Smile

Demo

Recorded on 2004-04-01

01. Wishing Unwell
02. The Artist Vs. The Painter
03. Scenesters Can't Fight Because They Never Got Past The White Belt
04. Beside The Hearse A Fruitful Palm Tree Grows

Darth Vader is by far the most brutal motherfucker in the universe. Only one band was able to rise to the challenge to harness his darkness and overall power. Through melodic/wretched riffs reminiscent of At The Gates and juggernaut beats that will literally hammer your skull into the concrete floor Glasgow Smile rises to the eternal test of time. Right as they begin to conquer the black helmeted behemoth, their epic backup vocals pierce the armor and Valhalla is ours! Just when you reach the zenith of your journey and all the sprites and fairies surrounding you seem to be at peace...THE BREAKDOWN HITS! The earth shattering palm muted ruckus rises leaving you with only one option: MOSH! From the gaping hole left open in the ground comes a Between The Buried And Me influenced beatdown that increasingly gets slower and heavier. The greatest battle awaits, but you must wait for the next episode, for this is only the demo.

This demo covers both the short song and long song, with songs ranging from twelve seconds to over five minutes. Lookout for an upcoming split with Glasgow Smile and Life In Pictures, a combination of two awesome upcoming metal groups. And how can you go wrong with this line (taken from the first track)?
