The Catalyst Album Stream

Features » Music

Richmond, Virginia has a rich history in the punk and hardcore world. And as the years have passed by, the city remains a hotbed for new and exciting bands to emerge from. The Catalyst is a perfect example. Throughout the past seven years, they have unleashed a slew of recordings on various formats. With Swallow Your Teeth, the band unleashes their debut full-length, packed with eleven tracks of noisy hardcore punk that draws influence from Born Against, Nirvana, Black Flag, and The Jesus Lizard. Swallow Your Teeth was recorded and mixed by Steve Roche (Off Minor) and mastered by Carl Saff (Young Widows). Painter Raymond Klecker, who handled the artwork for the band’s 2007 release Marianas Trench, created the art for the cover.

Scene Point Blank presents you with an exclusive full-album stream of Swallow Your Teeth, which is due out August 3rd in stores via The Perpetual Motion Machine.
