Strangers, who hail from New Zealand, burst onto the scene earlier this year with the release of their four-song EP, Holding. In the nine minutes that comprised the EP, Strangers delivered a blistering concoction of d-beat and hardcore punk that paralleled the likes of From Ashes Rise and Cursed. The band returns with their debut full-length, Weight, (mastered by James Plotkin of Khanate) and "Expositions" is the first track off said album. Action Man Records is currently taking pre-orders and will issue the album later this Summer.
Perth Express hail from Germany and play aggressive hardcore punk with a flare for metal - not unlike His Hero is Gone, Tragedy, and Mastodon. "Funf Vor Pflicht" loosely translates to "fun before obligation" and tackles the idea of when individuals lose their passion from the monotony of day-to-day life and make no attempt to change the way they live to find it again. Teenage Disco Bloodbath Records is releasing a Discography CD this Summer of all the band's recorded material up to now.
