Swans news 2013-2014

Michael Gira has issued a statement on two new Swans albums in the next year. The band will release a live CD/DVD titled Not Here/Not Now sometime post August-September. Following, the band will enter the studio in October with a new record sometime in spring/summer of 2014. Check out Gira's wording below.

i will be sifting through (seemingly) hundreds of live recordings and editing/mixing, then physically making by hand these things in august/september...

looks like swans will begin recording new album in october. god knows how long it will take. somehow, i'm also supposed to tour solo in march of next year... adios, mg
