Giant Squid have been making good use of their downtime. The band has been busy writing new material, including taking time to track a new song titled "Sutter's Fort." The song will appear on The End Records upcoming 2007 sampler. The band is also planning to hit the road again with a March tour planned around the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX.
