Dead Cross have rolled out a new song, "We'll Sleep When They're Dead," via Rolling Stone. The band features members of The Locust, Retox, and Head Wound City joined by drummer Dave Lombardo, longtime member of Slayer and currently touring drummer with Suicidal Tendencies.

WIth buzzsaw guitars and ample screaming atop Lombardo's drums, the band mixes grindcore, hardcore, and thrash metal. The members first met on tour with The Locust and Fantomas on the road. A debut album is scheduled for release later this year.

Dead Cross, live:
Apr 9 - Vancouver, BC @ Rickshaw Theatre - Modified Ghost Festival w/ The Dillinger Escape Plan
May 9 - Los Angeles, CA @ Troubadour w/ Melvins, Napalm Death

The Locust is an extremely polarizing group. On one hand, people take them as a complete joke. On the other, people take them extremely seriously. I fall somewhere in the middle and find them to be wholly entertaining with some substance hiding beneath the cacophony that they unleash on listeners. On this new album, New Erections, we find The Locust … Read more
