Engineer have set “Crooked Voices” as the title to their new album which they recently finished recording. A release date later this year through Black Market Activities/Metal Blade is being planned with more details currently pending.

Engineer will enter the studio next week to begin recording their follow-up to 2007’s The Dregs. The album will see a release through Black Market Activities sometime in 2010.

Engineer To Enter Studio

Engineer will begin recording for their next album following their upcoming tour with Tides. The album will be Engineer’s second release for Black Market Activities and their follow-up to 2007’s The Dregs. Guitarist Ryan Gorham provided this short update:
We have about nine songs ready to go. We plan on playing some of these songs while on tour with Tides.

Engineer Recording New LP

Engineer recently entered Moresound Studios in Syracuse, NY to record their new full-length effort, The Dregs. The album is slated for a Spring release via Black Market Activities (Teenage Disco Bloodbath Records will handle the vinyl release). Here is what the band had to say:
Although it seems soon to have another full-length written and recorded within a year of our last record being released, we still can’t manage to ‘sit still’ for very long. A couple months after we’re done recording our most recent works, we’re all always flooded with ideas for the next record. ‘The Dregs’ will be darker, more powerful, and contain some of the fastest songs we have yet to churn out.
Engineer released Reproach last year on Hex Records.
