Texas hardcore powerhouse Bitter End return with a brand new 7" EP. You get two brand new cuts of punishing New York-flavored hardcore on this limited vinyl release.
Following a short intro track "Purgatory" slams you in face like an unexpected punch. You get clobbered with searing riffs and throaty yells. It's a slamming grove that doesn't stop, save for the wicked mid-song guitar solo and breakdown that round it out. "Power Struggle" is equally as dominating on the ears, definitely recalls early Madball at points. My only qualm with this recording is that it sounds rather thin. It could be beefed up a lot more in the production.
This 7" will stand a nice hold-over until the next full-length drops from Bitter End. If you dig 90's inspired and groove-oriented hardcore then this 7" will be your jam.
