Music History: Beginner's Blues (I)

PART I: Beginner's Blues

In the beginning...

There was silence. For the first seven years of my existence, silence.

Then one day, a strange thing happened. I began to notice sounds coming up through the furnace vent into my bedroom. Using my powers of deduction that Frank and Joe Hardy had taught me, I surmised that the sounds were coming from my brother's bedroom downstairs.

I didn't know what the sounds were, but I liked to think that my brother was some kind of mad scientist creating something big and spooky for me to play with. This theory was a long shot because up until then, the only experiments my brother conducted, involved holding me down and spitting in my mouth when I screamed for mom. BUT... since I had been successful thus far in not swallowing the loogie, maybe he would let me be his lab assistant. So I went downstairs to explore my job options.
