A weird one came in from Google today. It seems that the rumour mill churned one out that the widely-loved Fugazi/Minor Threat frontman Ian Mackaye was dead. After various Myspace bulletins and Wikipedia edit wars, the man himself was called to confirm that he was, indeed, alive. “I am still alive,” Mackaye insisted. SPB is unsure where the rumour began, but thought it bizarre enough to share with you readers.
