According to a statement made by Swing Kids' drummer Jose Palafox, a Swing Kids reunion show could be a possibility in 2009. Here is what Palafox had to say:
Ok, so a few days ago I stated that Swing Kids would never get back together. Apparently, I was wrong. There has been an idea thrown out to have a reunion show in San Diego sometime next year (other possible bands getting back together are: Unbroken and Undertow). I have mixed feelings about this. I do however think that if its done for the benefit of a specific place that meant/means so much to us kids who were part of the punk/hardcore scene in the 1990s, then I will most likely do it. Again, the details are not set but I think that most likely it will happen. I don't have more info but when I do, I will post it up. Please don't ask cuz I don't know all the details. I just didn't want to seem like an asshole saying "never" when in fact, after speaking with Swing Kids members, the situation has changed.
