A two-day event in April will showcase a whole lot of classic punk bands, plus tacos and beer in large quantities.

Scheduled for April 6-7 at Doheny State Beach in southern California, hot sauce company Gringo Bandito (owned by Dexter Holland of The Offspring) will sponsor the event. The musical lineup is set to include Descendents, Bad Religion, Black Flag, The Suicide Machines, Flogging Molly, Lagwagon and, of course, The Offspring. The early part of the day will kick off with a beer tasting event.

The music lineup for Sabroso Craft Beer, Taco & Music Festival is as follows (subject to change):

Saturday, April 6: Flogging Molly, Bad Religion, Good Charlotte, Lagwagon, Strung Out, The Suicide Machines, and D.I.

Sunday, April 7: The Offspring, Descendents, Black Flag, Face To Face, Plague Vendor, Red City Radio, and Orange Blossom Special

9th & Walnut
Epitaph (2021)

Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace
Columbia (2008)

With an album title that sounds like the most recent Foo Fighters record, a song called "Fix You" (I thought Coldplay had already professed that particular desire), and a collection of tracks that sound like they want to be Green Day, My Chemical Romance or The Offspring circa 1994, The Offspring have become imitators and glory-day seekers, shapeshifting and morphing … Read more

Splinter
Sony (2004)

This was always going to be a difficult record to make. Offspring have a strange legion of fans ranging from Orange County punk rockers remembering their sun-kissed punk beginnings, to the 'hey-look-its-those-pretty-fly-guys' fans who would be amazed to learn that this record is their seventh. Their last few records have been hit and miss, and Splinter is no exception. Originally … Read more

Like its 12 predecessors, Fest 13 offered something new. The growing festival has made a mark in the DIY punk community in its layout, booking, and overall feel and, while it has a certain brand and stylistic focus, the 350+ band event is also able to shapeshift annually, sprouting new … Read more
