Due to a medical emergency High on Fire has withdrawn from their upcoming Speed of the Wizard tour with Municipal Waste.

According to a statement from the band:

Matt has a medical emergency culminating in the partial amputation of one of his toes. The scheduling of this procedure is immediate and the recovery time will overlap our intended tour with MW. We will unfortunately be unable to participate in this tour but will be back stronger than ever in 2019!

The tour will continue as scheduled but singularly headlined by Municipal Waste. Municipal Waste also released a statement wishing Matt and High on Fire the best, and Scene Point Blank sends our regards as well.

De Vermis Mysteriis
E1 (2012)

California’s High On Fire let loose an album of gargantuan proportions with De Vermis Mysteriis, the follow up to 2010’s massive Snakes For The Divine. Similarly huge, De Vermis Mysteriis is a much dirtier affair; pummeling riffs and absolutely gigantic swells of sound make up this mystical journey into darkness. Based loosely on a grimoire written by Robert Bloch (the … Read more
