Perry Henzell's classic Jamaican reggae film The Harder They Come, starring Jimmy Cliff as Ivanhoe Martin, has been remastered and released in HD online via iTunes US, iTunes Canada, and VHX.
The film, first released in 1973, also includes an historic soundtrack that features Cliff, Desmond Dekker, the Melodians, Scotty, and The Slickers, and Toots and The Maytals.
It’s always curious to see a veteran musician team up with their junior. Jimmy Cliff sounds pretty spry for a 63 year-old.
