I thoroughly enjoyed CT's Signs of Hope full-length First and Foremost and was pleased as punch to see their new EP in my mailbox. If you aren't familiar with Signs of Hope, they play fast hardcore that sounds like everyone else but it doesn't matter since Signs of Hope does it so well. Choices Made ventures into the ground of more moshy melodic hardcore that Champion trademarked in the early part of this century. Frankly, I like the more old-school approach that First and Foremost had, nevertheless Choices Made is good for the five-song EP that it is. I probably should have went and checked Signs of Hope out this summer when the came through town but my money situation said it was either Signs of Hope or a Threabare reunion later that night. I wonder who was going to win that battle. Anyhow, this is good. Pick it up if you like hardcore.
