The longest-running lineup of members of The Fall have formed Imperial Wax, named after the 2008 album when the musicians began their relationship.
Following the death of founder Mark E. Smith, the band received offers to play with guest musicians. They initially rejected those requests but ultimately formed the new group joined by Sam Curran on vocals and second guitar.
The band will release Gatswerk Saboteurs on May 17 on Saustex Records.
