Billy Howerdel (A Perfect Circle, Ashes Divide) shared a solo song and visualizer for the single "Poison Flowers" this week, the first single from an upcoming and currently untitled solo album which will release via Alchemy Recordings/BMG.

“’Poison Flowers’ began with the bass guitar part and all of the pieces flowed from there. It’s a rare feeling when the process of writing blocks out all distractions,” Howerdel, who also produced the song, says. “The upcoming songs reflect back to my earliest influences and ‘Poison Flowers’ leads well into the rest of the album.”

On the album, Howerdel handles all instrumentation except for the drumming of Josh Freese.
