The debut (and sole) release from Medictation, Warm Places, is now available from Paper + Plastick Records. The band features the late Dickie Hammond and Graeme Philliskirk (ex-Leatherface) as well as Hugo Mudie and Fred Jaques (ex Sainte Catherines).
The two sets of musicians first came together during the Leatherface-Yesterday's Ring North American tour of 2012, forming the group later after their previous bands disbanded. It is among Hammonds' final projects.
On the Stormy Petrel World Tour in 2010 bassist Graeme Philliskirk made an arrangement with The Arthouse in Melbourne, Australia to record Leatherface’s set, unbeknownst to the rest of the band.
