The Botanist plants Photosynthesis

The Botanist has a new record due on October 30. Titled Photosynthesis, a lead single "Water" is now available (embed below).

The latest release is a concept album concerning the photosynthesis process -- defined as how plants convert sunlight into energy and convert carbon dioxide into oxygen. As the press release puts it, "The album’s eight tracks each deal with an aspect of photosynthesis, from the macro to the micro, and its core visual theme depicts the world’s forests as a functioning lung system’s individual cells, scattered throughout the globe."

4. Dehydration
5. Bacteria
6. Stroma

8. Oxygen
