Godflesh - Purge

Godflesh returns on June 9, when the band will release its first album in six years: Purge, available via Avalanche Recordings. Conceptually, the album revisits the ideas of their 1992 album, Pure, through a contemporary lens.

Comprised of Justin K. Broadrick and Ben Green, the album is described as "a temporary relief from [Broadrick's] diagnosed autism and PTSD. It's the next stage in a journey he has been on since he began creating music, feeling alone and like an outsider in any scene or group, from childhood through to adulthood."

A digital single, "Nero," will preclude the release of the album, available on April 3 along with three self-remixes.

The project last released Self in 2017.
