Bjorn

Scene Point Blank: What are your top five albums that were released in 2007?

  1. Dinosaur Jr. - Beyond
  2. Interpol - Our Love to Admire
  3. Blacklisted - Peace on Earth, War on Stage
  4. Big Business - Here Come the Waterworks
  5. Justice - Escapades

Scene Point Blank: How will you remember 2007? (In terms of music)

I will remember it as the year in which I finally saw the Bad Brains live. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what kind of impact that made on me.

Scene Point Blank: What kind of impact do you think donation-based releases like Radiohead, Saul Williams, etc? will have on the record industry?

Hopefully it'll make records a little cheaper in general so unemployed scavengers like me can keep on building a monstrous collection.

Scene Point Blank: 2007 saw the decommissioning of two prominent file-sharing groups - Demonoid and Oink. What kind of impact will the increased crackdown on file-sharing have on the record industry? Did it personally have an effect on you?

I don't even have an own computer and have never downloaded or shared files in my life so I don't think I'm qualified to answer this.

Scene Point Blank: What can we look forward to from your band in 2008?

A new album hopefully that will combine the best elements of early 90's Swedish death metal, grunge, and the first Killing Time LP.

Scene Point Blank: What three records are you looking forward to most in 2008?

Blacklisted's new album, new work from Morrissey? hopefully, and recordings by The Reactionaries.
