Michael (hellfish.com)

What are your top five albums that were released in 2010? (In order 1-5)
  1. Ceremony - Rohernert Park
  2. Integrity - The Blackest Curse
  3. Expire - Grim Rhythm
  4. Danzig - Deth Red Saboath
  5. Converge - On My Shield
What band did you discover in 2010 (can be a brand new band or an older band) that had an impact on your life? What made them significant?

Envy- blown away by their live preformance. Incredible.

How will you remember 2010? (In terms of music)

Too many reunions. Just because you were a band 15yrs ago doesn’t mean you should reunite. Some things are better off dead and buried.

With more and more bands switching to digital methods of releasing music and communicating with audiences in 2010, do you think there's still a place for physical CDs and word-of-mouth shows in the future?

I don’t think the CD will not survive much longer. It is obsolete in a world where everything is designed to be multifunctional. Everything will be able to play digital music soon so the need will be non existent.

Word of mouth shows will still have a place on the smallest level because they are fun, and also because this counter culture thrives on doing what they are told they cant do. "You shut down all our venues? Ok, we will do a house show."

What can we look forward to from you in 2011?

Label wise: A handful of release. We don’t plan on going all out and doing 20 half assed releases. We would rather do 3 and make the fucking incredible and as much of an art piece as a music release.

Webstore wise: Revamping and relaunching the webstore and bringing on a whole new slew of bands/artist into it.

What three records are you looking forward to most in 2011?
  1. Anything that Integrity puts out.
  2. Between Earth & Sky
  3. And a few that cant be talked about just yet!
