Mastodon will be releasing an album of the band's earliest recordings in 2006. The Call of the Mastodon is a collection of Mastodon's first-ever forays into the recording studio. The nine tracks contained within have been remixed and remastered by original producer Matt Washburn, and repackaged by the band's longtime artist Paul Romano. You can pre-order the album here.
