According to Billboard, The Decemberists will be teaming up with Death Cab For Cutie's Chris Walla and Tucker Martine to produce their new full-length. The band has written 22 songs and is in the process of narrowing them down to what will become The Crane Wife. The album has been described by Colin Meloy as their "weirdest yet."
