Johnny Marr, the former guitarist of a little band The Smiths, has officially joined the ranks of Modest Mouse. Marr originally joined on to help the band record their new album. As a result of the recording expirience, Marr has chosen to join the band as a full-on touring member. The band will be releasing their new album, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, sometime this Fall through Epic Records.
