Absentee, fronted by Jason Popson of In Cold Blood/Mushroomhead fame, have been in the studio recording for their debut full-length. Providing the drumwork for the recording is Gene Hoglan of Death/Strapping Young Lad fame. The band will continue to record at Mars Recording Compound (Integrity, Terror, Walls of Jericho) throughout February. Absentee contributed a cover of "Revolve" on We Reach: The Music of the The Melvins.
