New York-based indie rock outfit Nightmare of You will be self-releasing a new five-song EP later this year. The band recently parted ways with East West Records, but have been hard at work writing the follow-up to 2005's self-titled affair. Frontman Brandon Reilly commented the following on the new EP:
We are currently in the studio recording what will become a self-released 5 song EP entitled Bang that we will be putting out completely on our own through our independent label, The Bevonshire Label. Yes, 5 BRAND SPANKING NEW SONGS! Alas, as the ever-growing hunt for the perfect home for Nightmare Of You goes on (we've never quite fit in), we have been getting artistically frustrated and fancied doing something for us and our exclusive community of very attractive and adoring fans. Afterall, you MUST be as antsy as we are! (we've received death threats for new material).
