Sigur Rós have announced the impending release of both a double CD and a DVD for November 6th. The band will release, Heima, a DVD that chronicles a series of free concerts that they band played in their native Iceland in 2006. Hvarf/Heim is a two-CD release which is comprised of two EP's. The first is comprised of five tracks, which are reworkings of old Sigur Rós songs while the second disc is made up of acoustic versions of songs from the band's four studio albums.
Sigur Rós last released Takk in 2005.
