Coliseum's Ryan Patterson recently provided a lengthy update on recent and upcoming happenings with the group. Of note is that the band is planning to scale back its shows to focus on writing and recording their new album and follow-up to 2007's No Salvation. Here is what was made known:
We'll continue to lay low and work hard on our as yet untitled third album... We're deep into the writing process, taking broad steps to cross some new ground and challenge ourselves with different approaches to songwriting. Recording will commence in January [2010] with J Robbins producing, all other details will follow.
