Metalcore veterans and Minnesota natives DISEMBODIED are pleased to announce their involvement in the 2010 New England Metal and Hardcore Festival in Worcester, MA. The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival takes place on Friday, April 23rd and Saturday, April 24th. DISEMBODIED are scheduled to perform at day two of the event, and their set starts at 5pm.

DISEMBODIED are returning to the metal scene with a vengeance after a ten year hiatus. Brought together again by sheer, random fate, DISEMBODIED are ready to land themselves back in the studio and on the road. Their upcoming and currently untitled Good Fight Music release promises to be the heaviest record they have ever recorded. The record is expected to hit stores later this year.

Don’t let this flush of new activity fool you; DISEMBODIED continue to be a group of busy individuals. In 2009, DISEMBODIED co-headlined Burning Fight Fest in Chicago, IL with fellow heavy legends Unbroken and Converge, and boast two highly successful, sold out shows at the Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA. DISEMBODIED also appeared in Europe at Iperfest in Belgium. In September 2009, Prime Directive Records released a collection of DISEMBODIED’s 7″ songs, compilation tracks, and rarities, entitled Psalms of Sheol. The compilation also features a cover of Metallica’s ‘Creeping Death’.
