Against Me! has recruited multi-instrumentalist Franz Nicolay (The Hold Steady, World/Inferno Friendship Society) as touring member beginning with their upcoming European tour. The band made the announcement:
We're very happy to welcome Franz Nicolay out on the road with us! Starting with this next run of Europe dates Franz will be joining us onstage every night and lending his immense talents and presence to the band.
Franz released two solo records in 2009: St. Sebastian of the Short Stage [10 inch] and Major General. Against Me! is gearing up for the release of their second major label album and first with drummer George Rebelo (Hot Water Music), White Crosses.
