Molotov Solution loses three members

Posted by Jon E. on July 27, 2010

Las Vegas, NV deathcore band Molotov Solution apparently replaced three departed members earlier this summer, though no announcement had been made in the interim. Leaving the group were Jeremy Johnson (drums), Sims Collison (guitar), and Kevin Oakley (bass). Guitar player Robbie Pina has issued the following explanation: "Jeremy has carpal tunnel, not a very good thing to have as a 'metal' drummer. Truth be told though, he was never really into playing fast. He also was losing a place to live and decided to move in with his girlfriend leaving him to get a job. Kevin decided that touring no longer fit his lifestlye and wanted to stay home an open a print shop aka stoked on printing. He also wanted to be closer to his gf. Sims... a lot of emotional shit had been happening for him and with those two leaving he felt maybe he should as well and go back to school and possibly move back to Hawaii cause music is unreliable. Those two actually still miss doing that band and want to, but it's not possible. Nick [Arthur, vocals] and myself are still writing everything as before and it will not change a thing. This is something we LOVE to do." New members have yet to be named, though according to Wikipedia, Jake Durrett (drums) and Shane Slade (bass) are now in the band.
