The Sword Announce Fill-In Drummer

The Sword have tapped drummer Kevin Fender of Employer, Employee fame for their immediate touring plans. Fender takes over the position from Trivett Wingo, who recently exited the group due to anxiety issues. It is not yet known if Fender will be joining the group on a permanent basis.

For now the band issued the following statement:

“We are pleased to announce the Warp Riders 2010 U.S. Tour Mk. II, beginning in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on November 27! These performances will feature the formidable skills of notorious intergalactic bounty drummer, Kevin Fender. A veteran of the Austin music scene, Mr. Fender is best known for his devastating work with Texas hardcore legends Employer, Employee. Check the Performance page of our website for dates and tickets!
