Fireworks announced today that they would have to drop off their co-headlining tour with The Wonder Years "indefinitely." The band will reveal details on why at a later time. The Manscout Jamboree Tour will continue and features The Wonder Years, Make Do & Mend, and Living With Lions.

Update: Hit the jump to read the statement Fireworks has posted.

First off, we would like to sincerely thank everyone for all the warm comments and for keeping us in your thoughts.

After we finished our set last night we received a phone call that Dave’s dad had passed away unexpectedly. We rushed home as soon as we could and we will stay here for as long as it’s needed.

Dave’s dad was truly an incredible man who smashed through any vices life and his condition latched onto him. A true inspiration. Saying he will be missed is an understatement. Please keep Dave and his family in your thoughts.

We will keep everybody posted on if and when we will be returning to our run with The Wonder Years, Make Do and Mend and Living With Lions as soon as we know more. I can honestly say everybody on this tour, and involved with this tour, showed an overwhelming amount of love and compassion and are some of the best people we know. Without them last night would have been harder than it already was. Please continue to support these bands and this tour.

Love,

Fireworks
