Spin Magazine and Music Nation are teaming up for The Hot Pursuit, a contest that looks to discover tomorrow's best kept musical secret. The winning artist will be selected by an esteemed judges panel of Perry Farrell, Tim Kasher, and Spin editor Doug Brod. Interested artists can sign up and upload music, videos, and photos online here.
So what is at stake? Well, how about a record deal with Epic Records/Original Signal Recordings and a chance to perform at the 2008 South by Southwest Festival. Entry for the contest opens today, voting begins September 24th.
