Pedro The Lion Breaks Up

Posted Dec. 30, 2005, 3:04 a.m. in Splits by Matt

Jade Tree act Pedro The Lion have called it quits. Multi-instrumentalist Tim Walsh posted this message:

"I was finding it hard to support my family with the sporadic income that being a professional musician on this level provided. the amount of travel required(100+ days a year) was difficult for me and my family to sustain. there were also creative and interpersonal variables in the equation"

Pedro frontman Dave Bazan does not wish to go on touring under the Pedro The Lion name, as Walsh wishes, so will continue on as a solo artist under his own name.
