Transplants Break Up

Posted Jan. 19, 2006, 9:03 a.m. in Splits by Matt

In the greatest musical news of 2006 thus far, "punk-hop" pioneers The Transplants have called it a day. Former AFI roadie "Skinhead Rob" is reputedly forming a new band with drummer Travis Barker, a man with his finger in more musical pies than possibly even Mike Patton. The new band, also featuring Paul Wall, will be called Expensive Tastes.

Skinhead Rob's comments in a recent interview confirmed the breakup.
