Fred Mascherino Departs Taking Back Sunday

Guitarist/vocalist Fred Mascherino announced his departure from Taking Back Sunday today to focus on his solo venture, The Color Fred.  Mascherino took the place of original guitarist/vocalist John Nolan after his break from the group.  No word on a replacement as of yet, though vocalist Adam Lazarra did mention that the band is writing for their next full-length.  Mascherino will be releasing The Color Fred's debut full-length,  Bend to Break, on October 30th via Equal Vision Records.  To read more on the split with Taking Back Sunday, head here.
