It’s safe to say that everyone’s already getting a head start on choosing the song that will be most played this summer. Over the past few months, La+ch and Dustbuster of the band Coleman Hell have become increasingly popular on Soundcloud for their remixes of songs by artists like Katy Perry and Rihanna. But this time around, the duo has made their mark with over 55,000 plays (and counting) in just a few days on their new original single entitled "Hunter."

Not only is this a song that is likely to end up at the club you’re dancing in, but it’s one of those songs that seem like they're meant to mark the iconic moments in life just like in the movies. Whether it's a late night drive blasting music in your car with the windows down, hearing it in the background during a game of beer pong at the cottage, or maybe just using it as an excuse to have a dance party in your apartment while you’re making waffles for breakfast.

The simplicity of this song is what makes it such a catch...and catchy tune. In fact, it’s the only thing I’ve been singing from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep. Every inch of this track is sticky and it’s sticky in a good way.

With the plays on Soundcloud still escalating by the minute, it looks like the internet has spoken. I can't wait to see what else these guys have in store for us.

Sometimes musical circles take decades to close. Just ask Fleur De Lys and their catchy cover of The Who’s '60s freakbeat rarity, "Circles." For those of us digging through dusty crates at the margins of post-punk, a first introduction to mid-century mystic Eden Ahbez didn't come from a Nat King Cole hit. It came straight from the liner notes of … Read more

F.Y.P is one of the rare bands that I'd say nobody sounds like -- but in the past two months I've caught myself making that comparison twice. First while listening to the new Dumpies LP (spoiler alert: they cover F.Y.P on that same record) and now as I listen to the Physicalist debut EP. The interesting thing here isn't the … Read more

Todo se desvanece
Burnt Toast Vinyl (2026)

When bands spend months slowly piecing together an album with cheap gear, limited time, and apparently an alarming amount of terrible beer, it’s kind of romantic. Not romantic in the polished indie film sense. More romantic in the sense that you can actually hear people chasing a feeling before life pulls them in different directions. That tension sits at the … Read more
