Grindcore is a genre that you either fanatical about, or you just don't seem to care. I can't say that I'm all that jazzed about the genre. I don't really find grindcore bands to be that entertaining, for the most part. Triac hail from Baltimore, Maryland and they have somehow found a way to keep me interested! These guys mix your traditional grindcore style of pulverizing riffs and pummeling blastbeats with scathing screams and growls, but they also throw in a little bit of a drone-metal deal too. So its like fixing Pig Destroyer and Cattle Decapitation songs with Neurosis parts. It's weird, but it works. If you're into grindcore, you probably already know these guys. If not, give this 7"/CD combo a spin, it might change your tune.
