The Bay Area of California was one of the original breeding grounds for hardcore not to mention a hot bed as of late - so it really isn't a surprise to hear new and impressive bands emerging on a monthly basis. Until Your Heart Stops is a fairly new group that has something new to offer, yet is closely tied in with the area's past.

"Pulling Teeth" launches this 7" into action with a menacing and raging hardcore anthem. It's blistering fast hardcore with some good riffage. "Digging Holes" has a bit of an A.F.I. influence fast and melodic hardcore with the great sing-along parts. "(L)over" is a bittersweet anthem for anyone that's been in a relationship that didn't end well so that would be everyone. "Black & White" completes the listening experience just as it began quality metallic hardcore.

We are Not Coming Down is a great first release from this upstart hardcore outfit. If you like what you hear, grab a copy of this 7" and if they come to your town, check them out as I've heard they are even better live.

This California band tends to traffic in semi melodic hardcore blasts. This belies their name for certain as most would attribute the band name … Read more
