The Copyrights

Scene Point Blank: How many times has the band played The Fest?

The Copyrights: This will be our second year. Last year was great so there was no chance in hell we could miss this year.

Scene Point Blank: Seeing how The Fest has been dubbed the pinnacle of beard rock, which bands playing do you think have the best bearded members? Do you have suggestions or requests for facial hair at this year's The Fest?

The Copyrights: Best beards? I would suggest they try to book ZZ Top next year. No real suggestions for facial hair, except stay away from that long goatee ala Alice in Chains. That shit sucks.

Scene Point Blank: What have been some of the high and low points of previous The Fests?

The Copyrights: The high points usually last from 7pm - 3am. The low points are waking up the following morning. I think last year a low point was that unbelievable rainstorm that happened the first night.

Scene Point Blank: What bands are you most psyched to see at this year's The Fest?

The Copyrights: Shit man, there are really too many to name. Who cares about seeing bands, we just want an excuse to hangout with all our friends from around the country (who just so happen to be in bands).

Scene Point Blank: What are you most looking forward to aside from seeing other bands at this year's The Fest?

The Copyrights: Like I said before, just getting the chance to be with all of our friends; you got to have something like this at least once a year to keep everyone's spirits up.

Scene Point Blank: For all the first timers do you have any advice before attending The Fest this year or any suggestions for things to check out in the off time?

The Copyrights: If you wake up super hung over and you walk to a Mexican restaurant, and you see that they have a mariachi band with horns and shit. Just leave.
