Ex-P.S. Eliot leader Katie Crutchfield has announced the release of her new solo project Waxahatchee. American Weekend will release on January 10, 2012 on Don Giovanni Records. The project, named for a tributary of the lower Coosa River, uses just Crutchfield's vocals, guitar, and piano. Following its release, she will embark on a 65 date US tour.
