Tomahawk has announced the release of Oddfellows in January 2013. The new record is their first in five years, and in October the band will take the stage for the first time in nine years in New Orleans. The band is comprised of Duane Denison (Jesus Lizard), new addition Trevor Dunn (Fantomas, Melvins Lite), Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle), ad John Stanier (Battles, Helmet). As for the new album, "It's dark and claustrophobic here, light and spacious there," says Denison. Additional tour dates will be announced in the future.
