At a lunch stop in Sacramento, Subrosa was recently robbed en route to Oakland with the band losing violins, guitars, a bass, and money and personal belongings, along with theie van being damaged. The band is raising funds to replace their gear, in exchange for merchandise, here.
Subrosa have managed to get lumped into the doom genre. While that genre tag isn't completely inaccurate it certainly fails to tell the full story of the band.
