Downcast is back after 25 years' hiatus. The political California hardcore band will release the new Tell Me I'm Alive album on Feb. 21 ovia Three One G Records/Ebulttition Records.

Some of the new material is built upon unreleased songs written during the band's final days, with new songs building off that direction.

In between Downcast albums, members have also performed with Not For the Lack of Trying, Jara, and Born & Raised.

A new song, "Mayday," is streaming at No Echo.
