A new project called Dark Mark vs. Skeleton Joe (DMvsSJ) has come to light, featuring Joe Cardamone (The Icarus Line) and Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees). The name is a reference to alter egos that each artist has embraced over the years, and they will continue to do so with the new effort.

While a 12" vinyl single is already slated for release on March 12, 2021 (Rare Bird/KittenRobot Records), a teaser is out now (and posted after the bump).

DMvsSJ is described as dark, featuring tonal rhythms and minor chords. The single will be the first release, but a full-length is also planned for 2021. “There is an entire full-length Dark Mark vs. Skeleton Joe record in the can that we're finalizing now,” Cardomone offers in a press release. “Some little touches here and there still, but all in all we got a record on the way."
