Seb Alvarez, also of meth., has announced an upcoming debut solo album under the moniker of Virgin Mother.
The new album will release on Oct. 14 under the title of Mourning Ritual, with Alvarez sharing a single this week called "I'll Never Feel Like Anything."
On the album, Alvarez plays provides vocals, guitar, bass, drums, synth, and samples himself, with a few guest spots along the way.
"I've always wanted to write and perform everything on a record and do everything completely on my own," he says in a press releases. "I needed to prove to myself that I didn't necessarily need to rely on anyone but myself to make music."
Virgin Mother has previously released four EPs, It Is, Marrow, Dialect, and Woe, building to this point.
