Seattle, WA based power-pop quartet Appaloosa shared a new single yesterday, "Get It Together, Kid."
The band formed when vocalist/guitarist Erica Rose moved back to Seattle after living in New York for six years, envisioning the melodic, power-pop foundation with a "glam shimmer."
“I was pregnant with twins and couldn’t stop writing,” she says in a press release and “I knew exactly what I wanted this to be: melodic, loud, emotional, and real.”
The new single changed direction in the practice space.
“It was five minutes long at first, more of a ballad,” Rose explains. “But once we started playing it together, it wanted to be fast. It wanted to move.”
